My Routines and Habits
Have you ever realized how the little things we do every day shape who we are? My routines and habits may seem boring to some. But to me, they are the rhythm that keeps my life sane.
Every morning, I make breakfast for myself. Why? You already know the answer. But before I make breakfast, I take a shower right after I wake up around 08:00 A.M. After that, I brush my teeth to keep my smile sparkling (P.S. Brighter than my love life, obviously). Next, I comb my hair and put on my makeup. Because, looking fresh is a must, right? And yes, I drink tea every single morning while having breakfast. It is my little ritual. Then, I get ready to work from home with my go-to playlist vibing in the background. And in the afternoon, I always have coffee. My favorite is vanilla latte, yummy! Then in the evening, I get ready to go to campus but not by bus. I ride a Gojek to campus every day.
After I get home from campus, I always wash my face to remove my makeup. And finally, on weekends. I like to fix things around the house. Sometimes I clean my makeup corner, sort out my shoes, and even experiment in the kitchen (which is why my mom always gets mad at me on weekends, because I often make a mess while trying new recipes). Somehow, it gives me a weird but satisfying feeling of peace and accomplishment.
